Search engines are how the vast majority of clients find web sites that they are seeking.  Apart from the adult industry, people seek web sites for one of three reasons: for entertainment, for information or to buy things.

Do not be fooled by the adverts saying they will submit your site to millions of search engines – many of these are of very poor quality and all you will get from this activity is thousands of spam emails.  Biz Guru chooses its search engines very carefully to not only show your business on quality engines that are used by the majority on internet surfers, but also to minimize spam.  Search engines change their submission policies on a very regular basis and regular submission ensures that your site does not drop its rankings or falls out all together.

Site Linking and Site Awareness Campaigns

Site linking campaigns involve contacting the managers of web sites that offer complementary services to your own and requesting that they place a link on their web site to your web site.  It is usual to reciprocate.  This benefits both parties as the more links to your site you have – the greater the chance you have of being found and the higher up the search engines you should be placed. 

Site Awareness Campaigns will involve seeking our appropriate portals (web sites that provide information on many different other sites), search engines and web sites offering services or goods that may compliment your services or goods. We introduce your company and your services and goods that you sell. Requests are then made for the inclusion of your site on these sites.  This activity has two benefits - introducing your company and obtaining exposure on other sites.

What we do is carefully select companies that may be interested in your products and services and send them an INDIVIDUAL email, personally written to demonstrate that their web site has been viewed and understood.  Worded correctly, the response from these types of contacts are usually positive. We only ever contact the company once, unless they request further information and always use a professional approach.  This keeps you within the law and ensures that the contact is seen as focused and individual to them. This work is time consuming but rewarding and gets your web site and services noticed. 

The Biz Guru will notify you of companies that have been approached in this way, so that you can be ready to respond to any enquiries. The links should be added to your site along with the other site changes requested for that month.

The Biz Guru does not use spamming techniques of any kind to contact your potential clients – this is usually counter productive and expensive as well as associating your company with spamming companies that offer less traditional products.
